I got a story that you can't unhear Me and the gang aren't from around here We wanted to see the '04 World's Fair But ended up in a dimensional tear Place seems right but the time's so wrong Where have all the atoms gone? Guess we're gonna check it out, See what this new world's about Holding on for dear life! (Faster than the speed of light!) An interdimensional flight! All systems in the green on our Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Where we go, you won't believe, in our Atomic Cadillac Time Machine All systems in the green on our Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Time, space, my boys, and me in our Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Cherry red with silver rims, the coolest that there's ever been! Fitted with the latest luxuries Like the Malt-O-Matic Milkshake Machine We can see any place, any time From 2016 to 1609 Things seen only in your dreams, The Age of Stone, or the Age of Steam Pre-Chorus Chorus First airplane flight? (We've seen it!) A world where left is right? (We've seen it!) Steam-powered cities? (We've seen it!) Space-pirates singing shanties? (We've seen it!) A world where people speak backwards (We've seen it!) A world where people speak no words (We've seen it!) A world ruled by hippopotami? (We've seen it!) A world ruled by rogue AI?! Chorus Never seen Doc's face so green, than in the Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Go to places you'll never see in the Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Just one ride and you'll believe in the Atomic Cadillac Time Machine Fueled by the atom, not by gasoline its the Atomic Cadillac Time Machine

Chicago 05:16
You know the first time, it was the city Caught my attention with a reflection of me I see a cool cat looking through the glass And I want to be him, but I'm not And I couldn't, I couldn't explain How I felt so cool, and so clanked* the same But it shot me with a sprout* And it's growing in my brain, get it out! Cus all I had to do was sign the dotted line And every little thing would work out just fine I guess I really should have read the bottom line Cus now I need something to call mine! You know the second time, it was the new start She patched up my heart, what a dame, what a doll, what a pal Thoughts runnin' through my cranium had me glowin' like uranium Boy, she had me on cloud nine, at least most of the time Rockin' out to Rockabilly music, would'a been a better time to choose it These days it don't matter none, cus it's all been said and done The Skybus flew us on, we stood in rows and sang our songs We did our very best and then we flew right back home again Cus all I had to do was sign the dotted line And every little thing would work out just fine I guess I really should have read the bottom line Cus now I need something to call mine! You know the third time, it was the freedom Lookin' for something that I'll admit's a "someone" I'm thinkin' that I should'a just cut out, but my jets* had just shut down And so I got bent* again, oh! And I sold my soul Became a third of a face, and wouldn't walk away Did I think that's cool? Walkin' off without my head, and actin' like a fool. Cus all I had to do was sign the dotted line And every little thing would work out just fine I guess I really should have read the bottom line I think I need another try The last bus to Chicago brought me so much pain Not just because of what it brought me back to But how it took me away I'm going back! (He's going back!) We're going back some day!

Memories 04:17
Oh memories, how they inspire me Dymes’ll strum away, and I’ll supply the bass Vic and Inkwell, round us out, let’s give our friends a taste Of memories Oh memories, close your eyes and see The pirates of the stars, the city in the sky And I’ve got seven billion photographs inside my mind containing memories Let’s, go on, a trip through space and time And sing a tune a lovely little rhyme That takes us back to where it all began You, recall, we met through chance of fate So let’s, go back, to 1958 And save the date, live it one more time Oh memories, the events of history, they’ve created The person you are or the one you hope to be Whether you’re alone, or in pleasant company They’re memories

Lonnis: Since I was young, I wanted to be Like the other guys in my family tree They paved their way with blood, sweat, and tears Building new machines that had yet to be seen Since time began, we've created things Bamboo and stones into intricate complexity Look how far we've come, the future's getting old The only question to ask, how far have we left to go? Vic: And the atoms always fuse when the boilers fail And time keeps marching on without any care And the atoms always fuse when the clockwork fails And time keeps marching on without any care Inkwell: Some might say, this digital age is a travesty That's not worth explaining But it's where we are, and there's no use fighting Just enjoy the ride, or at least die trying Vic: And the atoms always fuse when the boilers fail And time keeps marching on without any care And the atoms always fuse when the clockwork fails And time keeps marching on without any care Inkwell: Take a look at me, unlearn what you've seen What you think is real and possible You don't know the glee, artificially capable of song and life

Robot Romp 04:13
When you find yourself in a box collecting dust When your nose leaks oil, and your knuckles rust Turn your headlights on, grab your windup key, Stand up and do the robot romp with me (Bot romp, robot romp!) x4 Does your torso shudder, do your rivets shake No matter what sound your fancy gearbox makes Reach behind your head, rip the hose from your back Do the robot romp and don't ever look back When those fleshy folk just don't understand When you're the only robot in the human band Turn your volume up and shut your worries down We're gonna robot romp all over the town Do the robot romp! (Robot romp) Do the robot romp! (Robot romp) Do the robot romp! (Robot romp) With me! x2 Grab your robot girl if you think she's hot Grab your dancing shoes and your oil pot Grease up your joints and get your gears a'turning The robot romp will get your boilers burnin' When you're out of steam and your joints are shot When your engine's cool but your heart is hot Plug yourself back in, fill your tank and then Get up and do the robot romp again Do the robot romp with me

about

Recorded in Cleveland, Ohio, Atomic Cadillac Time Machine is Earth to Sender's second studio release, produced by Don Debiase in association with Standby Records. Its sound is grounded in 1950s Rockabilly and Rhythm-and-Blues music, mixed with elements of modern indie rock and complimented by lyrics that conjure images of a sci-fi universe.
